Massage Therapy in Des Moines
Massages
Full and partial body massages are available from our professionally trained massage therapists. A massage focuses on the kneading of your muscles and joints to relieve tension and/or pain. Specific massage techniques are available as follows.
Prenatal Massages are sensitive to the many anatomical changes a woman undergoes during pregnancy and will in no way cause harm to the mother or the baby.
Deep tissue Massages are perfect for sport injuries and muscle strains. Sustained pressure is applied using slow, deep strokes targeted toward the inner layers of muscles and connective tissue.
Cupping Massages involve special cups being placed on the body to create suction. This therapy helps with pain, inflammation, increases blood flow as well as relaxes the body, similar to a deep tissue massage.
Kinetic Stretching uses the momentum of a moving limb in an attempt to push it beyond its normal range of motion. This bouncing technique increases flexibility and agility.
Massage appointments must be made over the phone or email. Call us to schedule an appointment.
